Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America with Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Then she moved to Miami with her family at age two after moving out of Havana. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of the well-known Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. It was also it was named the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across important demos. Polo was born on April 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. After that, she received the PhD in law at the University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in the city of Miami. Polo appeared for the first time on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal skills were also used in other court shows. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In 1958, the author published her book Los Hijos Muertos. It received the Critic's Prize for Literature, as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in the year 1960. Polo was an ovarian cancer survivor, frequently raises money for this charity and also speaks at various events. She has been an activist for LGBT rights her entire career. She earned her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
