Shari Headley was born July 15th 1964. She is an American model, actress, and actor. She is famous for her role in Coming to America, the romantic comedy that became an instant box office success. Headley has also been in films The Preacher's Wife (1996) and Johnson Family Vacation (2004). Headley was a frequent on-air character on All My Children, an ABC daytime soap show. She was the character Detective Mimi Reed from 1991 to 1994. As the lead actress, she appeared in the Fox short-lived drama series 413 Hope St. (1997-1998) where she won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding actor in a Drama Series nomination. Headley played the character of Jennifer Sallison, a villain in the Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap The Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap opera The Haves and the Have Nots.
